Anti-violence Journalists and lawmakers got it wrong in 1990s: Grand Theft Auto 2 was the most violent disturbing Video Game
Remember when everyone was up in arms about violence in video games and how they caused school shooters, etc. They were blaming all these games that obviously were bad at the time such as Postal (1997) and who knows what else. I haven’t been able to comment on this, for 24+ years but finally, I can say something now that I’m a non-competitor. What they completely missed back then was
the absolute worst game of the time GRAND THEFT AUTO 2,
and they were too dumb to ever find it because they were non-gamers. I was just laughing. All it would have taken is ONE person to tell all those lawmakers, or journalists the game they SHOULD have focused on and it would have given them all the ammo they needed to succeed. But they never figured it out.
As I search, I see that they even have written loosely about it with: The Worst Things GTA Games Made Us Do
I mean the only way they ever got away with this was
- No one played the game far enough to experience some of these missions
- there was no youtube or easily video capture or Twitter to share this disturbing content
- or the TOP DOWN perspective which made it less real.
These missions made me feel bad for playing a video game. They were sickening.
NOT 100% ON THIS ONE: COLLECT MIGRANTS AND DRIVE THEM OFF THE DOCKS TO THEIR DEATHS
Even 23 years later, this is one of the most fucked up video game moments of all time. When I search for this online, I can’t even find
anything about it. Am I misremembering this? They had you go round up “illegals” and drive them off the end of the dock once you’d collected them. Is that just the hot dog mission? I seem to remember that being something they had you do. Maybe I’m on crack.
But this one was real:
COLLECT PEOPLE AND TURN THEM INTO HOT DOGS!
Anyway. What was great about GTA 1-2 was the completely unfiltered content, like the early days of the internet or reddit. But on the other hand that resulted in some things that were completely offensive and over the top.
As I understood it, it was a studio in EUROPE and that was their impression of America based on cliches they knew about it. It seemed fitting.
And the journalist and lawmakers really fucked up in not finding this game at the time.
Fuck Escape Rooms, and most team building events
I really hate anything that is popular. You can go all the way back to AOL as the #1 internet service for that foundation to be built as it was the lamest thing yet it was the most popular. There’s plenty of more examples throughout the decades: boy bands, twitter, ICQ, soccer/world football, vaccines. Whenever anything is suspiciously popular, I head in the opposite direction. I don’t give a shit if everyone is doing it. I even apply that to some video games just to piss people off such as Final Fantasy where people have meltdowns if you don’t play it/like it. haha. Let me give you another great example: Cold Play. My friends and I liked them before they were popular; then they hit it big time and became lame because everyone likes them. Fuck I even applied that to U2 when everyone was having a splosion to them in the 1990s.
Anyway, fuck Escape Rooms. Every lamer decided hey a great team-building event is, LET’S GO TO AN ESCAPE ROOM! I really think the base concept is cool where there’s a historical/themed room full of puzzles. I really like the creativity of the rooms people create or the puzzle levels. What I don’t like is everyone working together to solve the puzzle or dbags using it as team-building event. These marketing fucks thought they would do a VIRTUAL ESCAPE room during covid, which sadly, that thing actually exists.
I mean look at this shit:

I have even now seen a horror movie on escape rooms and lots of TV shows have episodes about them.
I managed to get out of the VIRTUAL ESCAPE ROOM TEAM EVENT…along with getting out of every other stupid ass team-building event people tried to pull besides Paint Ball which was awesome. The boss basically said you’re “gay” or “not a man” if you don’t go to paintball. He said it was required. Which isn’t at all politically correct in a business setting today but was passable in the 2009-2014s. He was in a position where no one could ever fight back against something like that. But I respected how he forced everyone to “man up” and attend and fight it out. Especially when your financial product is virtual characters killing each other. But as time progressed, the rebels launched a board game sideshow where they refused to participate and it swelled to like 40% non-participants. haha. Then it just died but it lasted until 2014 or so.
The most cliche team-building is the fall with trust thing. They do it on TV, even to make fun of team-building events. Wine & Painting is OK if you drink but if you don’t drink it’s kinda pointless IMO.
Way back they had about 15 years of movie team events. They were enjoyable but we saw tons of completely shitty movies that were a waste of our time. It’s hard to time a GOOD MOVIE release with team event. I had to fucking see EPISODE 1 three times as a team event. haha. The worst movie we saw was Dungeons & Dragons (where we all cheered when the characters die much to the surprise of the non-team members in the theater) OR we saw THE HULK which was complete garbage. I think we saw “XXX” and Tomb Raider which were also crap.
One of my favorite team events was Booze Cruise or Cruise to Catalina. I don’t drink but the boat ride was awesome. We took a slow as fuck boat to Catalina one time only to discover we went to the lame part of Catalina where there was nothing to do whatsoever. The highlight was just a shitty convenience store which you coulda literally stayed at home and gone 1 block over for the same experience. But it was fun. We did around the bay cruises several times and it was awesome except for the one time, the leader decided to have actual WORK meetings on the boat. Which was fucking lame as fuck. I mean who wants to have a work meeting on a boat around the bay. They must have had to justify the trip somehow using that. I guess it’s better than being in the office but it’s still a waste of the boat time.
Besides that, the coolest thing I heard about was THROW AXES team event. You go somewhere and you throw axes. I never did it. I do have a few of that fixes though for future usage.
Anyway, the goal is to bring team members together so they perform better at work. That’s certainly OK and I don’t disagree with that. But people make fucking lame sections in their team-building event choices. Then if you’re stuck on a team with a bunch of lamers, you get stuck going to a lame event that is forced by the company. I think there were some times where they threaten you with “going to work” instead, which was actually a better choice than some of their selections.
GG
My eldest switched to an Iphone 12
The first computer I ever started with was an Apple IIe so I didn’t even know PC until 1994 when I got my first computer. But the apple hate is strong mostly due to the politics of Steve Jobs, the customers, and the horrible interfaces. I did enjoy the ITouch a ton and used an Ipad a little. We just dumped the iPad on a speaker and it sat there for the next 7-10 years.
Anyway, he’s loving the iPhone 12 and all it’s unique features but at the same time he’s had a lot of problems he didn’t experience in Samsung. We’ve had Samsung for about 7+ years for everyone.
Maybe I killed Bob Saget?
I started washing Fuller House, which mostly doesn’t feature him but he does have some guest spots. Then he dies! What a coincidence.
The show is enjoyable for fans of the first time around. It’s great family fun in an age of HORRIBLE brainwashing TV/Shows.
I think he was murdered. Now they say he had severe head trauma uncharacteristic of a fall and now his family is covering it up.
Bob Saget ‘hit his head against marble floor before collapsing in bed where he died’
This site
This site makes 3 CENTS a month. So I don’t overally devote time to but I made a few longer articles for experimental reasons. I’ll keep going on. I can talk about whatever game stuff now. It seems like political content is now a death sentence and the interest level is kinda low since there’s better sites so I don’t know.
What we do know is literal Satanic Pedos are out there facing us.
Charles Bronson, Revenge Movie Great
Charles Bronson is the revenge movie king. He has many good movies. They are pretty dark though, with typically something really brutal and disgusting happening, forcing him to murder his way to the final boss. What I’ve been doing is going through his list of best movies and getting and watching them all. Some are on Netflix, some on Amazon Prime while others you’ll have to “dig” up. His best movies are Death Wish 1-4 about a normal guy who had a terrible tragedy happen then he’s forced to be a vigilante and clean up. Those were so popular they made four of them.
If you’re a fan of revenge movie people like Clint Eastwood, Sylvester Stalone or action movie greats like Chuck Norris, Steven Segal, Mel Gibson, then consider Charles Bronson.
One interesting thing I saw was his Borderline (1980) movie where he’s a border patrol agent. Everything was relevant today 41 years later.
Unfortunately, he died, but after living a long life to 81. He died in 2003.
The archetypal screen tough guy with weatherbeaten features–one film critic described his rugged looks as “a Clark Gable who had been left out in the sun too long”-
Top Charles Bronson Movies
- Death Wish (1-4)
- The Mechanic
- Murphy’s Law
- Mr. Majestik
- Death Hunt (similar to Rambo)
- Telefon
- From Noon Till Three
- Red Sun (the original Shanghai Knights)
He was also part of large casts in great movies:
- Once upon a time in the west (not main actor)
- The Great Escape (not main actor)
- The Magnificent Seven (not main actor)
- Dirty Dozen (not main actor)
- Battle of the Bulge (not main actor)
Give him a shot.
Car’s Extended Warranty
I’ve been making outdated jokes in games about that and chat then finally started getting those calls.
(2) calls now on we would like to talk to you about your car’s extended warranty. They don’t seem to know you probably can’t add a warranty on a 19-year-old car. haha.
Know your memes: Your Car’s Extended Warranty (2016)
According to an NPR[1] interview from April 2021, phone scams about “your car’s extended warranty” started in the United States in 2007.
HOA Landscapers
The second I’m free of an HOA, never again. I’ve lost $26,400 to them. Just keep that in mind if you ever buy a house how that adds up over time.
Anyway, the point of the story. About once a week the landscapers come by and one day it was so bad they sat outside my window for 6 hours doing chainsaw-type sounds, the blower, etc. It was horrible.
One day they were out there at 7 a.m.
They picked up a new tool. It’s a chainsaw LIKE a hedge clipper. So they hit the trigger and it does a chainsaw sound for a burst. It’s so loud you can hear it 1/2 the block and they sit outside your house doing it for hours. It’s so infuriating.
I want to eat at Eat
I’ve always seen Eat as I take road trips but I’ve never eaten there. I hope someday I’m able to try it before they’re all gone. Another one I want to try is Restaurant
Disenchantment Season 4 is out on Netflix
If you’re a fan of Futurama or even the Simpsons before it sucked, then check out Disenchantment. I like the original scenes and stories. There’s totally original worlds, themes, creatures that you wouldn’t see elsewhere. Very original. Another great feature is just how many people die. All of this would make a good fantasy RPG.
There are some good laughs here and there which is honestly uncommon in most of these “comedy” animations.
Season 4 is now out.
Disenchantment is an American animated satirical fantasy sitcom created by Matt Groening for Netflix. The series is Groening’s first production to appear exclusively on a streaming service
Fast Food / No service
The service has completely died due to the “Pandemic”, Unemployment, and minimum wage. All of the stores are offering CRAZY pay $15-20 an hour. But they still can’t manage to get or keep anyone. Papa Johns had two people working one day only and cut their hours. Then tonight they had like 10+ people in there. It’s all over the place. Del Taco now takes forever due to not enough employees. Waiting like 15 mins for something that used to take 2 mins. The combo of all of that has resulted in just super bad (ever in history) service or places closing. Then we’re not even talking about how much the prices have gone up. The 59 cent taco is now $1+
Dominos
Man the quality on their pizza is so bad now. Got it two different times now and it just looks gross. Compare to Papa Johns (cancelled) and it’s way higher quality. Even Little Caesars is better quality now.
Knight Rider pursuit mode was the jump the shark moment
Season 4 of Knight Rider saw the introduction of Pursuit Mode, a transforming option for K.I.T.T. This year was 1985 and what was popular at the time? Transformers. I don’t need to look up any history to know what they were trying to do was create a transforming version of K.I.T.T. due to the popularity of Transformers. It was season 4 and I’m sure Knight Rider was starting to drop in the ratings (no I didn’t research anything for this post). So let’s make K.I.T.T. transform! The effect was cool where he could now go upwards of 300 MPH but it just looked like total garbage. I remember in 1985 thinking about how dumb it looked. Of course, that was the last season of Knight Rider so other people had to agree. haha. It’s just bad looking design. All of that garbage coming out of the car wouldn’t make it go any faster and instead, it just looks like it would slow it down. The back of it also looked especially bad. So that’s why I believe Pursuit Mode was the jump the shark moment for Knight Rider.
They also added a convertible mode but if you look behind David Hasselhoff you can see that it doesn’t even line up/look good. Total hack job on the car

Can’t say YOU GUYS
We all got called to meeting where they said we’re no longer allowed to say “YOU GUYS.” Completely random too. At another meeting in another department, a woman in QA said “what’s wrong with saying you guys?” She honestly didn’t know what the problem was and thought it was fine. Team members on MY team, heard that story and said “they wanted to beat her up in the parking lot after work” for asking that question.
So then years goes by and everyone kept saying YOU GUYS, including all women. I said, what about that meeting we had that said we can’t say YOU GUYS (sarcastically of course). And no one even remembered having the meeting but me.
I hope YOU GUYS like this story.
I also am annoyed at cliched phrases in meetings.
