Update: 200 hours played. I’m just trying to get an S-class sentinel ship, and I’ve tried 100 times, but my A-class one can win every fight. I got the Colossus and tried garbage collecting. That’s incredibly frustrating as the shit keeps falling out of your truck the whole way, then ultimately there isn’t any reward haha.

Most of the gameplay is BUSY work for no reason. But it’s been fun for at least the first 100 hours. Still can’t get S-class multi took for sentinel either.

Update: I’m at 80 hours played. I play until I die. Basically, there’s tons of things to upgrade. Then some side content. There’s enough to do to spend a month or two and more if you play with other people. So I can super super recommend it. I got a S-Class Pirate Dreadnaught, but I can’t manage to get a S-Class multi-tool or Sentinel ship. Stuck in A-class for those.

They say it’s awesome 10 years later. So far it’s exactly like Subnautica, down to what I’m doing and the weapons, haha.

I’m scanning things, I’m using the multi tool, I’m building the same shitty base I made in Subnautica 1/2.

Day 1 was great, Day 2 I got stuck on a planet and no stupid resources to take off. Which is lame. So I came back hours later and finally found something to power my ship. The early game is obnoxious.
