Well, we’ve been deserved our revenge since 1979.

The Iran hostage crisis refers to the November 1979 seizure of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran by Iranian militants who held 52 American citizens hostage for 444 days. The crisis, which occurred in the aftermath of the Iranian Revolution, significantly strained U.S.-Iran relations and impacted both countries’ domestic politics.
