Update: Found a new mode on this POS but now it does the worst thing possible. It just randomly cranks the volumes to max until my ears explode.

Original: I’m trying to add steering wheel controls to the 19 year old car.

I got a ASWC-1 device, and then a device on ebay with 2 circles with controls and a box.

When I go to hook the ASWC to the computer it never recognizes, it has a USB connection. When I go to program it manually in the car, I think it doesn’t like that when you press the controls, it’s not a constant button press, it’s just a ONE button press.

So far the best I’ve been able to achieve is ONE button will change the source (CD, radio). haha.
