I am fine with DVDs vs 4k because I just watch movies in a tiny window anyway. I sit down and watch a movie on a big screen every 6 months or so. I’m always just watching in tiny window so whocares.

So I’m happy to go collect DVDs at thrift stores, $1 etc because the res doesn’t matter to me.

I should get some 4k monitor just to run movies though and a DVD player. Oh well.
