Got a Smartwatch that’s $220 or so and it’s just changed my entire life. Now when people msg me or I get emails it alerts me on my phone or buzzes my wrist. I can leave my phone plugged in and just cruise around with my watch. It does all sorts of things:

  • weather,
  • stress meter,
  • gives me reports on my sleep or naps
  • Has a hangup button for when someone calls you (instead of actually talk to them)
  • Set alarms and buzz you awake in the morning or whenever
  • Has a light (becomes white face and pumps brightness to max)
  • Read emails that come in or notifications on anything
  • Change the watchface. There isn’t a TON of choices but there are at least 50-100. Pretty cool, when you get sick of your watchface, change it.
  • Heart rate
  • Blood Oxygen
  • Like 150 exercises
  • Put it in nightmode and ignore any messages/notifications
  • Control your mp3s back on your phone with your watch. The coolest is wear it in the shower then connect your phone to my ANKER boombox (waterproof) and control that in the shower.
  • Find your phone (hit that in a meeting one day and my phone goes crazy)
  • There’s only about 10 extra apps I found but one is a calculator
  • Steps
  • Waterproof for shower or swimming (KEY)
  • Great batthery life

There are multiple versions. Not sure which I got but it was $220+

And it’s not a stupid Apple watch. It’s not android either.

I’m sure there are better watches out there but who knows. This is the first that I liked.

Update 2: OK I was wrong about that show. The characters are nice but the writing is the WORST writing ever in police TV shows. You can literally watch Dragnet from the 1950s (if you can find it) for better stories. It’s dreadful. After 7 seasons they make him a private detective and saddle him with this “streets” guy who is horrible. All the dialog is horrible. They make his daughter a cop which is awesome but then give her nothing to work with. They have Lance from THE WIRE where you finally get to see him be the police chief of not Baltimore but LA then give him nothing to work with and make him evil. It’s a total flop due to bad writing and acting (in spinoff). I go to the reviews and these morons actually like this thing. They’ve never obviously seen good cop TV shows.

Update: The stories are SUPER recycled:

(1) dirty group of cops stealing/robbing

(2) Group of soldiers who were stealing/running things from Afghanistan/Iraq

Did you know the daughter is the little girl that died at the start of Walking Dead in that tragic shocking scene?

That view at his place is incredible. I’d live there looking out all the time. So amazing even overlooking a complete shit city. San Diego is better.

Started this show on Amazon Prime. Pretty entertaining so far.  It’s no shield but nothing will beat the shield or wire.

3 people from the wire have shown up so far. 2 regulars. What’s funny is on the wire one was the criminal and one was chasing them while on this show they’re both cops.

So in the 1990s I made a post about D&D nerds and people at work had a complete meltdown. I had shattered their belief system. Without Christianity, D&D was their replacement. They were ranting about how video games were founded on DND and that the whole company was founded on D&D. Actually D&D just ripped off Lord of the Rings. A lot of the video game systems concepts were taken from D&D but the few games that actually followed D&D rules where you have to sleep to recast a spell were HORRIBLE.

Maybe we wouldn’t have such great games without D&D but that still doesn’t mean imagining shit with a board and playing atmospheric music isn’t nerdy as fuck. haha. One person who literally makes shit up and the rest have to respond.

So I had to take my post down but here it is again. NERDDSSSS now they can’t make me take it down. haha

I also made a post about going to a party where they were using drugs that I had to take down. haha.

So there was this handsome jock guy at work and he loved D&D. But when he had girls come over, he’d put away all his nerdy stuff and put out sports stuff and trophies and stuff. Then fix it once they were gone. hahaha.

There were some awesome episodes of COMMUNITY with D&D though.

In college there were these 4 nerds that were always playing D&D in the hallway and the people in the hallway would give them a hard time. It was hilarious. throw shit at them, knock their table down, etc. The funniest shit was when one was running up and down the hall while another opened the door at the wrong time and he ran into it. Or they were both playing swords out in the hallway and one swung a wooden sword and the other wasn’t looking and he wacked him right in the head.

We’re all nerds with comics, and tv, and video games but there’s a level even beyond that that ends with LARPers.

Keep that stuff in the closet or privacy of your home. See bullies are what kept people in line as to what is acceptable in society and whether things had gone too far. But now that is all missing with “bullying” and instead you’re left with anything that goes and you can see how great that is going.

Update 2: Spent $60 on new disc magazines. Got it to play 4 out of 6 discs. haha

New: The Air-net seems to be putting out only to the right-back speaker. I swapped the cord 4x. I have ONE cord that goes to a 3.5m that still turns out to all speakers.  I took the 6 disc changer apart but it still only plays ONE disc out of 6. I got a 2nd one (UNTESTED AS IS). It plays NO discs. haha. I got a new cd lens, and ordered some new magazines. So far it’s $500 just to play 1 disc out of one speaker. vs. just ripping CDs to your phone and plugging in the 3.5m or Bluetooth. It’s about sending a message. It’s about flair. It’s about retro audio gaming. There are big groups devoted to 1980s/1990s stereos.

I lived through the Record years. I had like 10-15 records and my dad’s player. I wish I still had those and the player but records blew. Having to fip them over super sucked, just like cassettes. Your record would get screwed and would skip at a certain point EVERYTIME. There are all these songs where I’m waiting for the skip from the record (that no longer exists) because it’s been implanted into my brain that the skip is part of the song.

Then the worst sound in the world is the end of record sound where it’s just hitting and not picking up and stopping. It’s so annoying.

People say things sound better on Vinyl and there are all these records and songs that were never available again but fuck records. It’s just not worth it.

I call them Chick-Feel-Ah . That’s what it looks like to me when I read that.  They’re so overpriced but they’re the best in the business as far as being a non-douchbag company.

Well, for year(s) we were getting the breakfast chicken biscuits at work. Then the company makes some statements about gay marriage. So of course the woke warriors complained and canceled them. We were LOVING those every week and it was a huge highlight of the week. The food still tastes awesome, despite whatever the company or CEO was saying. Food has no politics. But we don’t cancel work when they did offensive things. We still had to go to work. I think they said something like you can still go get them on your own.

They still had the In & Out truck though which is Christian.

They are allowed to see your balances places so they KNOW when you got money. So magically I get a call going hey how was our service. Then another bank calls me personally about something else. They want to get at that money that they shouldn’t be able to for privacy reasons to exploit.

I totally recommend Wyze and their cameras but then at the same time they’re known for some spyware and they want to charge you extra $$ for basic things. If you just dump some SD cards in there, they do most things.

They got a new one that’s waterproof and can do color in the dark. They also have these cool plugins that can sent you a notification when a window or door opens.

There was this group of people who for 1-6 years, were turning out FAKE demos to make people they think they were making progress or that somehow what people saw would ever be reality.
Kinda funny but also a colossal waste of $$$. It was also disappointing that you’d never see what they were showing. One of them had the gal to flame me on Facebook a few years back and I was
dying to say something about this.
