Logitech headphones. If you don’t run their dumb app and keep it up on your computer, then the headphones go into this horrible light show routine BY DEFAULT. It should be that comes on after you turn it on, off by default. You can’t even save your choice to the headphones. You gotta keep this bullshit app up to turn that shit off.
Same with the damn razer keyboard. It’s also trying to do a stupid light show.

Their site loads like 1998. It loads so slowly. They hire 1,000s of H1-B employees only to never put any effort in whether the site can load. The wait time is always 5-10 seconds a page.
Site hasn’t improved in 26 years. It’s the same shit site they launched with. Even searching for something as buyers takes forever to load.
Fuckers take 13% per sale. One year I lost $4,000 in their dumb fee. You lose so much just selling anything on there between the shipping and the fee.
Shipping costs go up every few months to the point where it’s now $6.30 for a 4 OZ (OUNCE!!!!) item. That’s so fucking light you can’t even feel it. But still $6.30. One year I spent $3,000 on shipping. This isn’t ebay’s fault but that combined with the 13% fee makes $60 losses on a damn item and a more expensive item is like $100-200 losses vs. selling in person.
Cover everything in lame notifications on every page. You have to click to turn them off all the time. Then they’re always there every time you visit.

Every time you call customer service, it’s an Indian person who never sides with the seller, no matter how bad the stealing is. Their entire system is “fuck the seller.” The indian employees even face off against each other. Person 1 says OK, Person 2 says NO, Person 3 says OK. They’re not even consistent.
Got rid of negative feedback for buyers. So a shit buyer with 0 feedback is just as good as a good buyer with 6,000 feedback. Sellers can’t flame buyers anymore. You can’t even go, I only want to sell to 5+ feedback buyers. You can’t even leave feedback on a stealing buyer to let other sellers know the person is a thief. The stealing buyers can rob 5+ people before they are caught. Then they just create a new account. The only workaround is to leave “positive” feedback, then flame them, which is apparently against the rules.
The only thing sellers can do is block a person after they’re robbed by them, but the assholes just create a new account and do it again.
Buyers can do chargebacks then ebay comes after the seller.
Sellers are forced to sell to 0 feedback customers. So someone creates a burner account with a fake/stolen credit card, and you’re forced to sell to them. Then ebay protects the thief buyer throughout the entire process.
Ebay lets buyers RETURN SOMETHING while it’s still being shipped. The buyer lies about the return reason and gets a return before the damn item is even delivered to them. They say there’s something wrong with the item before it even arrives. Ebay should close the return at that point but they just let the person return something. You point out to ebay that they’re lying, they don’t care. They side with the buyer’s lie.
Ebay protects the buyer scammers who: say the item never arrived, return a broken item, or a different item after buying and receiving the good item. Ebay forces the seller to just take that THIEVING. The entire system is set up to reward people stealing on eBay. One guy bought a $600 item and returned a $300 broken item. Ebay wants the seller just to be ok with $500+ losses PER SALE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any high-end sale of $300-500, there’s a 70% chance (made up) of being robbed. You pray each time that you’re not robbed. If you sell high-risk items like iphones, video game systems, etc, you’re really fucked.
Ebay allows businesses to copyright claim you and shut down your sale if they want to sell the item themselves. So you have a new item and then the company comes after you and says “Authorizes sellers only” and ebay backs them. You have to lie/hide your sale.

HOA Karens. No matter where you live, there’s always some HOA Karen trying to control your life. The kids and neighborhood were enjoying playing Pickleball courts for years but they were insanely loud. I heard them one street over. So I think I tracked down who got them shut down. May 1st this Karen posts on Nextdoor (the official HOA Karen app) where to call the city for noise complaints. Then May 8th there’s an inspection of the courts that then shuts them down because the HOA didn’t get a permit to build them. So now for 1.5 years or who knows, they have been closed and collecting weeds and dust. The Karen didn’t like the sound and now doesn’t have to listen to it, but all the people enjoying pickleball can’t play anymore. Then, when they try to use the tennis courts, people say pickleball isn’t allowed. The HOA is ultimately to blame for not getting the right permits but now they don’t seem to be doing anything for years and everyone suffers.
People get so bored in their lives, that they want to control people. They can’t just find something entertaining to do, but instead want to tell everyone how they have to live their lives according to their own b.s. You see this nonsense everywhere: schools, girl scouts. It’s why living alone in a forest is preferable to dealing with these people.
Recently, I witnessed another situation where a neighbor ratted someone out to the city about some non-permitted home modifications because they didn’t like the noise of construction. Now the construction is halted but the neighbor will have to listen to many months more of construction and will actually be worse off having reported them.
Another example is there’s this unlicensed taco stand UNDER THE BRIDGE by the freeway. They’re not bothering anyone and it has a lot of people showing up to eat there. Who gives a shit if they licensed or whatever. They’re literally UNDER A F-ing bridge. They’re on the outskirts of society as much as anyone could ask for. They’re not in the middle of town. They’re not taking business away from other established places. They’re not in some shopping center. So someone rats them out (OF COURSE) because they didn’t like the idea of some Mexican stand making money or anyone enjoying their business. So the business disappears for a month but NOW Is back. I am hoping they got a permit or did whatever to be allowed to sell food (on the damn sidewalk).
People can’t just let people live their lives. Sick of all these jerks.

One month later, UPS does an adjustment where they want $8 more for something I shipped saying it was 1 inch larger. Then they charged me a $1 fee for having to adjust it. But they were totally full of shit about that size. I shipped the same exact thing in a different order and it wasn’t adjusted. Hate them so much but forced to use them.

I really hate anything that is popular. You can go all the way back to AOL as the #1 internet service for that foundation to be built as it was the lamest thing yet it was the most popular. There’s plenty of more examples throughout the decades: boy bands, twitter, ICQ, soccer/world football, vaccines. Whenever anything is suspiciously popular, I head in the opposite direction. I don’t give a shit if everyone is doing it. I even apply that to some video games just to piss people off such as Final Fantasy where people have meltdowns if you don’t play it/like it. haha. Let me give you another great example: Cold Play. My friends and I liked them before they were popular; then they hit it big time and became lame because everyone likes them. Fuck I even applied that to U2 when everyone was having a splosion to them in the 1990s.
Anyway, fuck Escape Rooms. Every lamer decided hey a great team-building event is, LET’S GO TO AN ESCAPE ROOM! I really think the base concept is cool where there’s a historical/themed room full of puzzles. I really like the creativity of the rooms people create or the puzzle levels. What I don’t like is everyone working together to solve the puzzle or dbags using it as team-building event. These marketing fucks thought they would do a VIRTUAL ESCAPE room during covid, which sadly, that thing actually exists.

I have even now seen a horror movie on escape rooms and lots of TV shows have episodes about them.
I managed to get out of the VIRTUAL ESCAPE ROOM TEAM EVENT…along with getting out of every other stupid ass team-building event people tried to pull besides Paint Ball which was awesome. The boss basically said you’re “gay” or “not a man” if you don’t go to paintball. He said it was required. Which isn’t at all politically correct in a business setting today but was passable in the 2009-2014s. He was in a position where no one could ever fight back against something like that. But I respected how he forced everyone to “man up” and attend and fight it out. Especially when your financial product is virtual characters killing each other. But as time progressed, the rebels launched a board game sideshow where they refused to participate and it swelled to like 40% non-participants. haha. Then it just died but it lasted until 2014 or so.
The most cliche team-building is the fall with trust thing. They do it on TV, even to make fun of team-building events. Wine & Painting is OK if you drink but if you don’t drink it’s kinda pointless IMO.
Way back they had about 15 years of movie team events. They were enjoyable but we saw tons of completely shitty movies that were a waste of our time. It’s hard to time a GOOD MOVIE release with team event. I had to fucking see EPISODE 1 three times as a team event. haha. The worst movie we saw was Dungeons & Dragons (where we all cheered when the characters die much to the surprise of the non-team members in the theater) OR we saw THE HULK which was complete garbage. I think we saw “XXX” and Tomb Raider which were also crap.
One of my favorite team events was Booze Cruise or Cruise to Catalina. I don’t drink but the boat ride was awesome. We took a slow as fuck boat to Catalina one time only to discover we went to the lame part of Catalina where there was nothing to do whatsoever. The highlight was just a shitty convenience store which you coulda literally stayed at home and gone 1 block over for the same experience. But it was fun. We did around the bay cruises several times and it was awesome except for the one time, the leader decided to have actual WORK meetings on the boat. Which was fucking lame as fuck. I mean who wants to have a work meeting on a boat around the bay. They must have had to justify the trip somehow using that. I guess it’s better than being in the office but it’s still a waste of the boat time.
Besides that, the coolest thing I heard about was THROW AXES team event. You go somewhere and you throw axes. I never did it. I do have a few of that fixes though for future usage.
Anyway, the goal is to bring team members together so they perform better at work. That’s certainly OK and I don’t disagree with that. But people make fucking lame sections in their team-building event choices. Then if you’re stuck on a team with a bunch of lamers, you get stuck going to a lame event that is forced by the company. I think there were some times where they threaten you with “going to work” instead, which was actually a better choice than some of their selections.
