Charles Bronson is the revenge movie king. He has many good movies. They are pretty dark though, with typically something really brutal and disgusting happening, forcing him to murder his way to the final boss. What I’ve been doing is going through his list of best movies and getting and watching them all. Some are on Netflix, some on Amazon Prime while others you’ll have to “dig” up. His best movies are Death Wish 1-4 about a normal guy who had a terrible tragedy happen then he’s forced to be a vigilante and clean up. Those were so popular they made four of them.
If you’re a fan of revenge movie people like Clint Eastwood, Sylvester Stalone or action movie greats like Chuck Norris, Steven Segal, Mel Gibson, then consider Charles Bronson.
One interesting thing I saw was his Borderline (1980) movie where he’s a border patrol agent. Everything was relevant today 41 years later.
Unfortunately, he died, but after living a long life to 81. He died in 2003.
The archetypal screen tough guy with weatherbeaten features–one film critic described his rugged looks as “a Clark Gable who had been left out in the sun too long”-
