They spend 15-20 years telling you buy an electric vehicle. Then once you do, they realize they aren’t getting the gas tax off them. So their plan is now to jack up registration or charge a per-mile tax. UK is already trying it. Certain states are doing it. They can’t ever let people have a cheap option for travel. So sick of this taxing people to death nonsense. One state is even trying to tax you on ALL Your property that you’ve already bought including cars, etc.
Anyway, one Tesla person was saying their registration in California is $630 to pay for EVs. Oregon is cheaper but they’re trying the same crap there.
So sick of these communists taxing us to death. The US is unlivable.
Trump screwed me on the federal rebate for EV. I missed it by 3 weeks and lost $4,000. California also got rid of the free single rider travel in the carpool lane for EV people. Which was bullshit, but now that I have one, I want it. haha.
Then the insurance is also higher. My truck is like $900 but my Tesla is $1500.
We did what you wanted, we got Electric Vehicles. Now you have to make us pay. The hypocrisy is so infuriating. Buy EV’s or else. You do and then they fuck you over.
