EA is reportedly seeking a sale or a merger

I’ve hated them since the 1990s when they would sell me upgraded versions of my favorite games : NHL, Maddin or Budokan in 1989 for $50. I’ve been waiting my whole life for them to fail like Blockbuster because they’re pure evil. They also ruined the game industry with their hourly switch lawsuit. They have had some really good games here and there but only because they bought the companies that make them, not due to any work by themselves such as Battlefield (which BOUGHT and they ruined), Apex Legends (bought them), Mass Effect, Road Rash, NHL 94. Almost none of the success was ever due to them doing anything. They pretty much destroy any company they buy.  They’re the GameStop of publishers. They rip people off for full price for some spreadsheet changes of stats in the games with YEAR + 1. They’re pure evil.  I enjoyed being their competition but now most of the AAA companies need to fail due to their lack of originality.

EA won with 50,575 votes or 64.03%. This result came in the aftermath of the Mass Effect 3 ending controversy which several commentators viewed as a significant contribution to EA’s win in the poll.
