So these jerks kept pressuring me to play a game with them and I gave 0 shits about the game and didn’t want to play. But they kept pressuring me and it was (3) bosses. I hated them in real life so I didn’t want to play with them on top of that. They would not take no for an answer no matter how many hints I gave them such as not enough time, I would rather work on my work etc. Another time I ditched and didn’t show up but the pressure kept coming. They acted like it was a condition of employment (more on that below).
So what I did is put my adult-aged kid in the game. But I kept the voice chat going to me where I was talking but HE was playing on another computer. It was so funny. They’d ask me all sorts of game questions and I just wouldn’t say anything or would make random unrelated comments. He got into the games and DESTROYED them. His level is near grandmaster and they were way below that. He would slaughter the entire team of coworkers. What’s really funny is there was one coworker who thought they were awesome and it was their last day. They thought they were one of the best players and had expected to spend their last day working everyone in the game and go out on a win. But that’s not what happened at all. Then afterward everyone was saying what an awesome player I was and I and my son were laughing our asses off. I don’t even remember when I had last played even, it was something like 2017. haha. I had passed on SMURFING to the next generation, my son.
I mean who invented Smurfing? Get a clue. Unless they somehow find this post, they still have no clue.
And here’s another story. I joined a team where it was me and another guy who had only worked there maybe 1 year longer than me but was my boss. We get in a game of 8 players, and he said something like “don’t attack my town or I’ll fire you.” and he said it to EVERYONE in the game of coworkers and they all laughed at me. Total ahole. Threatening to fire someone over a game. The joke was on him though because he quit for 1 Million dollars and they f-ed him out of it. haha. Then they never wanted to rehire him if he ever asked.
