T-Mobile gets worse over the years and the phones reach insane levels. At one point I was paying like $330 a month for a family of four with 2 of the top Samsung Phones from 2022. Then you pay like fucking 2 years to pay them off and that’s even with ONE of them free. It’s as bad as buying a mattress or car.

So then last month, the jerks went offline for 8 hours. The outage was USA wide but not every area was hit. I’ve never in my life seen such a long downtime. It was like a cyber attack. They never really explained it or apologized. In the world of just a few phone choices AT&T (worse), or Verizon, you don’t have a lot of options. If you have some other weird phone carriers like MINTMOBLE it still used their stuff and they still died. haha.

The phone was unusable except for wifi and even wifi calls didn’t work. They completely destroyed businesses with that losing a ton of money. If you were a gig worker, you were fucked. haha. Then you’re like ok what are you going to do to make up for it? $5.

As with cable, just threaten to quick and they change their tune. Instead of a credit of $5, they changed it to $60 but over 6 months. They wanted to lock you in for another 6 months.

Even with all the phones paid off and an ancient grandfathered plan from 2010s, it was still $230 a month.
