There was this guy named Thomas from EU. Worked there 10 years. Wonderful fellow. Well because of his accent which I believe was German, it sounded like “TOE MAS” when he pronounced it. So everyone broke their literal back and apologized whenever they got it wrong just to say “TOE MAS.” But the funny thing was, his name was Thomas and the American pronunciation was perfectly fine and Americans trying to say TOE MAS was wrong. But he let people fuck it up for 10 years until toward the end where he started telling people it’s just THOMAS. haha.
