Such a pain to use. You can see the balance. Lots of sites disallow them due to abuse. The money is legit on them and they can be used to scan (no chip) or make purchases

The problem is if you want to buy anything over $200, you’re screwed. You can sometimes get people to add up to TWO of them for $400 but the rest you’re screwed on. Then because it has a finite $200 down to, trying to manage that number and knowing how much you have left.

We tried to get something for $40 but only $39 was on it. We tried to buy something for $70 but the store didn’t even have the SLIDER thing anymore, only chip reader which the card doesn’t have.

Tried to buy something for $780 and they would only charge up to $400, and only if I waited like 5 days until they were in the office. haha.

• Preload your bills (phone etc) by $200
• Preload your Cable
• Preload Amazon Balance
• Run at fast food/stores (under $200)

Seems like you might be able to load it into Paypal then use Paypal for higher purchases.
